My life with three boys
Just another day in paradise as I like to say!
I did create a few new cards when I got home today, but, one of the boys stole the batteries from my camera, of course no one knows who did it!
Speaking of my three little angels, I decided to start a blog about my life with these three comedians. Life is always an adventure and there is never, ever a dull moment!
I know most of you are here for your scrapbooking and stamping enjoyment, but, if you wanna read about my adventurous life with three boys, follow me over here!

I'm Still Here
Is it possible to have stampin withdrawal? I really think I sort of get withdrawal when I havent stamped or scrapped in a few days. So, tomorrow, I am gonna give my messy house a once over (of course since I am working so much, the kids are destroying the pad!) and then I am gonna get some stampin out of my system!!!!
In the meantime, I had over 800 emails to get through today (thats what I get for subscribing to so many blogs, lol) I just skimmed through them and while doing so, I found a Picasso quote on a fellow demos blog;
Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. -Picasso
Isnt that the truth? I feel like stampin is my outlet, scrappin helps me express myself! That must be why I am going stir crazy this week without any creating, lookout tomorrow, for a bunch of creations, I hope!
Have a good night!

A Few Forest Friends
The second card uses up some more buttons from my stash, and the 2" scallop circle, I really like the way they layered together! The Designer Label punch is really great on all of these cards for the sentiments, which actually come from the new Teeny Tiny Wishes Sentiments set.
These last two cards are really just old cards from my stash that I want to update before I move the old ones into my for sale stash. I rcvd some cards from cards-al-a-cart when I first started as a demo, but the card used older DSP, so I upgraded by restamping the image and used some cottage wall DSP to update the card!
Finally, I loved this card, I dont remember who I cased it from, but I awnted to update it with new DSP, Animal Stories made the perfect backdrop for this updated card.
Thanks for looking! Back to work tomorow, sigh!
Can't get enough, Embracing Life!

I am trying to use up some old supplies from my stash, I still have quite a few old DSPs and a SAB papers and ribbons. I used the new Kind and Caring thoughts hostess set to update this old DSP, I really like the way it came out!

Beautiful Butterflies for you!
As Reported by Sara McKenzie on Craft Critique

You can use a single sheet of paper, or you can mix and match using scraps on the different butterflies, as shown below.

Mix and match your butterflies by choosing the placement of your paper.
Of course the die easily cuts through all manner of materials. I played with vellum, handmade paper, paper doilies, and origami paper. The butterflies are sized to be used singly, or you can layer them; you can adhere the whole butterfly to your project, or you can adhere only the center so the wings are free to move.

- greeting cards
- scrapbook pages
- 3-D paper projects, such as stationery boxes
- mobiles
In other words, pretty much anything you want to use them for!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------end of article
So, what do you think? Wanna get your hands on this great Die? Did you know it's a Stampin Up Exclusive? You can get it today for only $19.99 (retails at $21.95)plus S&H . If you are interested in contributing to the Butterfly Project for the Houston Holocaust museum, this die will make a perfect addition to your stash and before long, you can crank out tons of your own buterflies to donate.
Stampin Up also recently released this great butterfly punch, for only $15.95, but if you order it now, it's yours for only $14.45 + S&H.
Better yet, make plenty of butterflies to donate and plenty to keep for yourself! Purchase both the butterfly punch and the butterfly die today for only$29.99 Plus S&H. You cant get a better deal!
Embracing Life
When I first saw the Circle Circus set, I didnt really see the appeal. However, as I started to see others creations, it started to grow on me a little bit. If you have been watching, the new In-Colors can be very bold! I usually try to tame them a little bit, but for some reason, on this card, i wanted Big and Bold, so I used my two favorite Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo. I tried to use something similar to the depth of view technique from TJ. I saw on someone's blog where they used something like a depth of view resist technique, so I gave it try and this was my final take on it. The Sentiment is my favorite one from the On your Birthday set. Isn't it fantastic? The phrase Live, Laugh and Love, always makes me feel better when I am down.
Thinking of you, always!
stop thinking of him. I cannot bring myself to scrapbook, I have nothing happy to remember
these days..........
A friend and fellow blogger wrote me today, to say if there weren't any changes, we would
never have butterflies. That inspired this first card, I wish I could hold on to such words at a time like this, when I am hurting and so much is changing.
I wish I could turn into a beautiful butterfly sometimes and just fly away from the hurt.
I know when one door closes another is supposed to open, but it's so hard when all you see is the closed door in front of your face, eh?
Since I can't call him (or should I say, I shouldnt call him), since I cant text him or email him
or hear his voice today, I will just keep making cards to let him know I am thinking of him.
He will never see them, He will never know the pain that I feel, missing him! Maybe someday, they will find their way out of my stash and into some ones hands, to make them happy.
Maybe the smile they put on someone's face someday will make it worth it, the creativity that comes from hurt and lost love.
Enough of the sadness, I used the beutiful new Designer Series Paper, Cottage wall. You really can't tell how vivid and beautiful it is in the catty, you really need to see it first hand! It's beautiful. The first card uses the Simple Friendship stamp set and the rest of them use the new level two hostess set, Asian Artistry.
Wouldnt you know that somehow, I managed to order the spanish version instead of the English one, so I havent used the sentiment.
The sentiment that comes in this set, says Wherever you go, go with all your heart. How appropriate when I am hurting and missing him so much.
The Thinking of You Sentiment, is from teh new set, Kind and Caring thoughts, another beautiful set of sentiments!
I also used the new Desginer Label punch. I cannot stop making these beautiful thinking of you cards
tonight, because well, I am thinking of you Bobby and I always will!

Happy 4th of July
I found this on a fellow bloggers blog and couldnt resist sharing it here! This is my 20th year serving in the military and I still tear up when I hear the National Anthem or any other patriotic song. You will see me swinging my fist to Toby Keith and wanting to beat some Taliban butt too! (lol) Happy 4th of July everyone, please take a moment to think about those that are still serving, away from home to keep us safe in bed! This truly is the best Country and I love what I do for a living!!!
I watched the flag
Pass by one day,
It fluttered in the breeze.
A young Marine saluted it,
And then he stood at ease..
I looked at him in uniform
So young, so tall, so proud.
With hair cut square and eyes alert
He'd stand out in any crowd.
I thought how many men like him
Had fallen through the years.
How many died on foreign soil,
How many mothers' tears?
How many pilots' planes shot down?
How many died at sea?
How many foxholes were soldiers' g raves ?
No, freedom isn't free.
I heard the sound of Taps one night,
When everything was still,
I listened to the bugler play
And felt a sudden chill.
I wondered just how many times
That Taps had meant 'Amen,'
When a flag had draped a coffin.
Of a brother or a friend.
I thought of all the children,
Of the mothers and the wives,
Of fathers, sons and husbands
With interrupted lives.
I thought about a graveyard
At the bottom of the sea,
Of unmarked graves in Arlington .
No, freedom isn't free.
Thank you to all my fellow service men, women and all their loved ones who wait so patiently for their return.
