New Blog Candy!!!
Today is Veteran's Day, next month will be my 20-year anniversary in the Air Force! I still remember lugging my bag off to basic training 20 years ago. It seems like so long ago, yet just yesterday. I just can't imagine how different my life would be without the experiences the military has brought me! I would love to thank all fellow veterans for their service today and celebrate by giving away some blog candy! You cannot purchase this stamp set, you can earn it by being a hostess and claim it as a hostess gift, or you can leave a comment here for a chance to win! I will give this great set away on 1 December to one lucky winner. So, leave some comments on my blog between now and then for your chance to win. Plus, if you post about my blog candy on your blog or social network site, I will enter you into a secret drawing for another prize, just come back here and tell me where you have posted!! Also, if you are not a member allready, I will give away a holiday mini catalog and a free gift to one lucky lady who signs up to follow my blog or newsletter during this same time frame, that is 3 different gifts I will be giving away on 1 December.

OK how many of you have looked at this weird punch and thought what the..... is that for. well I'm about to show you this punch is actually one of my favorites and at only $13.50 what a bargain! and once you see what it does you'll want one to so here we go
Have you ever wondered how people get perfect bows like these.....
and perfect knots like these...
Step one: Once double rectangle has been punched take a long peice of ribbon and thread it through to the back as showen in image below.
Step Two: Thread ribbon through other slot to look like this. Both right and reverse side shown.
Step Three: On reverse side cross ribbon over ready to thread back through slots.
Step Four: Thread Ribbon back through slots as shown in below. Both reverse and right side shown. Stop here and cut off excess ribbon if you are just wanting a knot or continue on to complete a bow.
Step Five: Now on right side thread ribbon back through the slot it just came out of, so don't cross over as in previous steps and don't pull tight leave 2 loops as shown in image below.
Step Six: On reverse side cross over and thread through slots as shown.
Step Seven: Turn over and adjust till bows are even then trim excess congratulations you can know make perfect knots and bows!!!!!
