Fall Harvest

I took a break from unpacking the boxes all over my house and stamped last night. I was in an autumn mood, perhaps it was the blackout we had this week, or the almost 100 degree weather we had while moving......The first card uses the stamp sets: Leaf Lines, Bright Blessings & Fallling Leaves. The colors I used were Crushed Curry, Soft Suede and Chocolate Chip. I also used some versa mark ink to wheel the Bright Blessings onto the kraft paper, I am loving the distressed look, as you can see, I used it on all of my cards.
The leaves on this card are from Autumn Splendor. I love the bright colors of fall, don't you? I colored the leaves and acorns with my copics (of course) and added some autumn traditions, DSP. I really like the way the leaves look when they are cut out, looks like I just glued some leaves to the card. The sentiment is from Grateful Greetings. If you don't recognize these stamp sets, thats because they are from the new mini-catty, available to customers on 1 Sep.

One of my favorite techniques to play with is depth of field, I love the layered look, I use it alot and thought it would be perfect with the autumn splendor leaves. The sentiment is from Grateful Greetings again. I decided to distress a scalloped oval and use it for the sentiment on this one, again, I just had to distress all the paper with chocolate chip ink.
More distressing, it looks good with these autumn cards, dont ya think? Maybe I am just addicted to distressing, I love the way it makes the papers look worn and aged, it just feels more homey. Polka dotted soft suede ribbon tops off the leaves from the Falling Leaves stamp set.
I absolutely love coloring images with my copics! I just realized as am typing this that I didnt add a sentiment to this card, oh well...... no mistakes in art, right? After inking the edges of my Kraft paper with chocolate chip ink, again, I rolled the ends of the paper to make it look a little more worn. The beautiful lined image is from Gifts of the Earth.
This one is a little simple, but, I wanted to play with some versamark ink and the leaf images from falling leaves and the sentiment is from grateful greetings. More Autumn traditions DSP, soft suede ribbons and buttons.
My final sample today is the beautiful image from Gifts of the earth, again and the leaf from Autumn Splendor.
