Today's Featured Project: Fa la la la la Card Wish

A Chocolate Emergency Kit



This is a great little project that is easy and cute. It's perfect as a little gift for the bus driver or as a stocking stuffer! Plus it is already packaged for easy gift giving!

Ingredients:
One pop-top can (The photo shows a mandarin orange can)
A clean cut can opener
Candy or other small gifts
Crystal Effects
4-1/2 X 10 piece of designer series paper (size to can of your choice)
4-1/4 X 5-1/4 piece of coordinating card stock (size to can of your choice)
Snail Adhesive
Rub-ons, ribbons, stamps to decorate

Instructions:
1. Using can opener, cut off bottom of can. Empty, wash and completely dry can and lid.
2. Fill can with goodies.
3. Using Crystal Effects glue can bottom back on can.
4. Use a heavy book or other object to weigh down lid for several hours.
4. Cover can with DSP and adhere using SNAIL adhesive.
6. Create label with contents using coordinating cardstock and adhere using SNAIL.
7. Decorate to taste.

Cardinal Christmas


Stamp sets:
#111760 A Cardinal Christmas - $31.95
#109521 En Francais - $23.95

Ink:
#101406 Black Staz-On - $11.50
#101054 Mellow Moss Craft Ink - $9.95

Accessories:
#105542 Stampin' Pastels - $35.95
#102845 Blender Pen - $14.50
#101610 Stamping Sponge - $4.75

Directions:

* Wipe off and dry tile.
* Stamp cardinal in Black Staz-On on tile.
* Colour image using blender pen and pastels.
* If desired, stamp cardinal on scrap paper or sticky note and cut out, carefully trimming close to image. Place sticky note over image on tile, ensuring that you completely cover the image on the tile. Ink En Francais stamp with Black Staz-On and stamp on tile (over sticky note). Remove sticky note.
* Use sponge with Mellow Moss craft ink to ink edge of tile. Heat set ink.
* Spray tile with clear sealer to protect.
* Adhere felt protectors to bottom side of tile to protect furniture surface.
