Good Morning, Christmas is almost here and I have started on Valentines projects. Since I recently decided to start selling Stampin Up! again, I need to work extra hard to get ahead of the game ;)

So, I have been getting into my stash of You are Loved Stamps and More Amore DSP, oh how I have missed these inky fingers! Isn't it amazing how one stamp set can create so many different looks?

Ok, My final two candy bar wrappers,  I just wasn't feeling inspired today... I was already moving on to Valentines cards and just couldn't get myself into the Christmas spirit today. I cased both of these, but don't have the links at the moment, if these are your paper punch designs, feel free to email me so I can give you proper credit..

My friend Amy helped me out today and she created some great little bars (at an average of 2 hours per) lol, but I think she had fun getting her fingers inky and will probably be back soon for some more fun. Amy used free hand for most of her designs and lots of pre-packaged embellishments to help her out, but boy they sure look great!

Finally, My friend Kiki, or scrooge, you might think after you see her designs, I think she was feeling a little on the naughty side and she came up with the ones below... WARNING, these are not cheery! lol And not necessarily what you would call family friendly ;)

So, that's it, all of our candy bars are wrapped and ready for our Christmas Party on Friday, can't wait to see the reaction to Kiki's designs!

Holiday Wrapped Chocolate Bars

Today, I was inspired by this and pretty much cased it onto one of my chocolate bars.

Isn't this moose adorable? Next up, a fireplace with stockings... I have had some help recently, finishing up the chocolates for all of my coworkers, but I am not ready to show you these just yet, while they are funny they are a little on the naughty side of Christmas, but I am thinking I will show them tomorrow.

On a side note, one of my favorite chocolates disappeared, I cant find him anywhere, the kids all deny knowing anything about it and my bf is out of town, I suspected the dog, but, clearly, she would have left evidence behind somewhere... So, farewell to this cute little guy, he is MIA

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Just a little yummy recipe share, with the holidays looming, the open houses and holiday parties abound and I always hate arriving empty handed, knowing perfectly well that I have not eaten most of the day and intend to devour all the yummy appetizers and dips at the party! So, I like to bring something along. For tonight's party, I went with an old favorite, Buffalo Chicken Dip, it's quick and easy and always a crowd pleaser, except for my teenage boys who will devour 100 buffalo wings and not touch this dip... Crazy!

Of course it is best with fresh shredded chicken, but who has time for that! I have modified this recipe a few times and here is the recipe I used tonight

2 (10 ounce) cans chunk white chicken
2 (8ounce) packages of cream cheese, softened ( I used one 8 ounce package and 8 ounces of Sante Fe cooking cream to give it a little extra kick)
3/4 Cup Franks Red Hot (I used the buffalo flavor)
1 Cup of Ranch (I used 1/2 Cup of Salsa Ranch and 1/2 Cup of Blue Cheese, because who wants Buffalo wings without blue cheese)
1 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar cheese (I didn't actually measure, but I added just enough to get the consistency I was looking for.)

Heat the chicken and red hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat until heated through. Stir in cream cheese and ranch (and blue cheese). Cook until well blended and warm, add the cheddar cheese.

Another Chocolate Bar Wrapper

Here is yet another chocolate bar wrapper, I am just pumping away at these, I have 26 to make and I wanted them all to be different. I was inspired for this little guy here and here. I didn't have all the right punches for either, so I used a combination of both to make him.

A couple more candy wrappers knocked out, this time, I was inspired by this and this and came up with these...


The owl uses a hand drawn chimney, the SU owl punch, the hat and belt were cut by hand, the gift is simply a sticker I had laying around in my stash

The Bear is also SU BigZ Bear and Beary Merry

I think these chocolate bars are so darn cute, I don't know if anyone will actually open them!

A few more Chocolates for co-workers

A couple more candy wrappers, The gingerbread man is a sizzix die and I used the hat from the snow man die on the gingerbread man because he looked so plain. The nutcracker is  punch art, inspiration came from here, I found another nutcracker that I liked a little better, I think I will give him a try next but I am trying to make as many different as possible.

Wine Bottle Gift

I was inspired by this bottle I found on pintrist and decided to give my own version a try. I really couldn't find any buttons that I liked on top of the paper.

I used some stampin up Red Glimmer paper to dress up this wine bottle, a strip of basic black for the belt and Brushed gold for the belt buckle. The belt buckle was a Tim Holtz ornamental die and the tag is made with glimmer paper, whisper white and the stamp is from Stampin Up Greetings of the Season. Finally, years ago, I punched a bunch of left-over green paper with a holly stamp to use up my scraps. I can no longer find the holly punch but the box of all the green holly punch made with scraps is still around, so I used that and some red jewels I had laying around to put some "berries" on it.

I am really excited with the way it came out, I almost dont want to give it away.

Candy Bar Wrapper Punch Art

I have been working on these candy bars all night, punch art wrappers and now a few Paper pieced die cut wrappers. I hadn't intended on using the sizzix for these, but I have almost 30 wrappers to make and really didn't want to repeat my designs, anyway, I wasn't really happy with the way the gingerbread man came out and it occurred to me that I had some old die cuts that would be perfect for these candy bars, so I gave them a whirl.

So the first picture is my gingerbread candy bar that I was not happy with... while digging through the die cuts, I found this Christmas tree and thought it would be perfect! I have an entire box of jewels laying around, so I embellished the tree with scraps of expired DSP from Stampin Up and the jewels and wah lag, another candy bar wrapped. It has been a late night wrapping all these candy bars, so I will post some more tomorrow.

Candy Bar Gifts

I found these super cute candy bar wrappers over here and here and here and decided to try them out for co-workers. My Santa wrappers are not the pull kind, as featured on Kerry's blog, I very carefully took apart the cardboard wrapper that came with the chocolate and re-made my own, using these dimensions:

8" x 6.5" cardstock(retired colors) by stamping up, its nice and thick and resembles the cardboard fair enough
On the 8" side, I scored at 6/8", 1" ,7 "7 2/8"

On the 6.5" side, I scored at 3/4", 4 1/8", 4 3/8"

Then I trimmed the four corners on the inside score lines, leaving only one long inner section to complete the wrapper.

You should use these cutting guidelines, as guidelines only as I found even though I purchased 30 of the exact same Russel Stover Chocolates, they all ended up fitting in the wrapper slightly differently.

For the Santa wrapper, I used a strip of white trimmed to 6" x 2.25" and trimmed both sides lengthwise, using the SU Scallop border punch.

For the belt, I used the new SU Petite Curly Label Punch and some Brushed Silver Cardstock, I dont yet have the 1/2" circle punch, so I used the big circles that come with the build and owl punch by SU.

For the Reindeer wrapper, I used a 1 3/4" scallop punch (cut in half) 3/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch, snowflake punch and circles from the build an owl punch


For the snowman, I used the owl punch circles and heart, 1 3/4" circle, some staz on opaque inker for the eyes, a little retired ribbon as a scarf, a paper pieced hat with a corner rounder and an old snowflake jewel I had in my stash.

For the penguin, I used multiple ovals and hearts, I didn't have the right punches to make it work, so I hand pieced most of these together.

For the grinch, I used the top note sizzix die, and the eyes were made the same as all the others. The hat was mostly free hand triangles and the scallop border.

Today was my first day playing with paper in a very long time and I had so much fun getting my hands all sticky again! This cute little angry birds birthday card is something I wanted to give a try, made with nothing but stampin up paper and punches, of course a lot of glue and some glitter.
