Introducing: Photopolymer Stamps by Stampin' Up!
I'm excited to announce...Stampin' Up! is introducing a cool new Photopolymer stamp choice. Download: Photopolymer Flyer

What is it and what makes it so great?
They are starting off with one stamp set and plan to offer a new one each month on a trial basis. Now Stampin' Up! offers options for every kind of stamper: wood-mount, clear-mount, and now photopolymer!
I cant wait to try these out!
What is it and what makes it so great?
- They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
- They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
- Stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks and are easy to place just where you want them
- They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
I cant wait to try these out!
A CASE of By the Tide
As I am certain I have mentioned before.. I love the ocean, I love being in the water, looking at all the beautiful colors so far below, looking at the varied sea life............... Alas, I currently live in El Paso, so... I have to live vicariously through TV, Great Vacations and well... Stampin
This card is a complete CASE from Amy Celona, she recently had a class in PA (my home of origin) which featured this set and the masking you see here..... I loved it so much, I decided to give it a whirl. Mine has a little different effect from hers, but is very similar and I am still happy with it.... The last minute coral at the top was meant to be a little lighter but, I am still happy with it. I think I may go back and for a re-look at my painters tray from the other day and implement something more like this, somewhere in there... I have been wanting to use the sponged ocean picture a little bit lower in the tray anyway..... Ideally, I would love to use the two center spots for the blue ocean, but I am not really sure how that will look.. More to come.

Ears to you!!
I have seen this set done in color and they look great, but I just think of chocolate bunnies when I see it, what about you? Do you see chocolate or do you see color?
I tried a little spring colors, but they just don't feel as good to me as the chocolate bunnies. I also tried a little mix of dark chocolate and milk chocolate and white chocolate, but I just couldn't get the white chocolate to come out... So.... I went with some caramel instead and I actually think this is my favorite of the three... what do you think?

Easter Cards
I started on an Easter Card Class tonight, its kind of funny how the first card is almost always my favorite and then I get less inspired as I go. So, I am certain I will be keeping this first card, the second one, I think I need to play with a little longer but I do like the tulips and finally the third one, is just to plain for my liking, well, I guess it is not really not plain, but it just doesn't do anything for me , so I will work on it some more...... What are your thoughts on these cards, have any ideas to make them better? I generally like to stick with one set of designer series paper when working on my cards for a class, it keeps the costs down for both the customers and myself. Anyway, as always your thoughts are welcome!
Also, I have never made a video tutorial, but I got several requests for instructions on my Open Sea Cards, let me see what I can come up with ladies, hang in there with me, I will come up with something.
Hugs!! Angi
So, this is the first card and by far my favorite! As always, inspired by pinterest. I just knew as soon as I saw this little bunny but that I had to make one!
I love the tulip and overall, I am happy with this card, I just think it needs something else... some color on the DSP, a sentiment? Not sure yet, what are your thoughts?
Finally, this card just feels a little uninspired, I like coloring the DSP, but it just needs something more... Maybe a nicely placed sentiment will dress it up enough? Its not plain by any means, but its just missing something... what are your thoughts? Also, I have never made a video tutorial, but I got several requests for instructions on my Open Sea Cards, let me see what I can come up with ladies, hang in there with me, I will come up with something.

More of the Open Sea

And finally, I took all of my sets and played with them for a few hours until I came up with this painters tray, I am certain if SU releases some more nautical themed stamps, I will edit this, but this is what I came up with for now.
The current sets I used were: The Open Sea, By the Tide, By the Seashore and Daring Adventure. I also used a few old sentiments from my stash. It will go in my living room bookshelf with my other sea things, like shells, a mini album of my kids at the beach and some fish knick knacks I have collected.

A little more of the open sea...
The Open Sea is by far one of my favorite stamps sets in the entire SU catalog! I am loving it! As I described yesterday, as a scuba diver, this set is close to my heart! I cannot believe it has taken me so long to play with this set! I really love it and wish the catalog had more nautical themed stamps! I used an old sentiment, but I am not sure what set it comes from, because I have taken my retired sets apart and have them filed by theme, so if you know what set the sentiment is from, feel free to give it a shout out, I haven't a clue!

The Open Sea and A little Daring Adventure
I have been dying to play with this set for some time now! I finally sat down and created a card, just for me, you see, as a scuba diver, I am naturally drawn to everything sea- inspired and my living room is decorated in ocean knick knacks, I have been wanting to create something with this set and I have just finished my first piece. I saw a frame on pinterest, I would like to case, and I think this will be the first piece for that frame, or maybe a painters tray. Anyway, sometimes, it is great to just create, without worrying about measuring and keeping track of supply costs and the like, I think I may just do a class with this set, not sure if I will get any takers but I am really inspired by this set and I am loving the way this first card came out, what do you think??
A little sponging, a little brayering, a little distressing and a whole lot of fun, I really do like the way this one came out, what do you think?

Embellished Events
Working on my next class using the Embellished Events Stamp Set, I have a few finishing touches to add to these cards, but I am waiting on my next SU delivery. Is there no end to the inspiration on pinterest?
I never feel right creating one Birthday card, without one for the opposite sex for a class. This Print Poetry pack has the perfect reversible papers to make both a male and female birthday card.
It took me a long time to figure out how to do these wedding bells, but I do like the way this came out. I just ordered some brushed gold paper and I may have to play with this one a little more once it arrives
I actually changed the sentiment to Thankyou after I took the picture, but I love this one, as soon as my new shipment arrives I will add the in color dahlias to this one, like the one on pinterest that inspired it.
This one is not my favorite, but I like the paper for Christmas, I am sure this one will have a few more tries before I decide on the final version
This one, I really like, but of course I need a girl baby card to go with it, just not sure that print poetry has the best paper for a baby girl, going to have to play with it a little bit more. I like the way the baby board card came out.
This is my favorite of the bunch, I really like the way it came out, I am thinking about reworking the sentiment a bit, but overall, I am happy with it, it just needs something else...
Please leave your comments and tell me what you think of these, any ideas for improving them?
